Brewers fall to A's

The Milwaukee Brewers gave up three runs in the fifth inning to lead to its 11-3 Sunday afternoon loss to the Oakland A's.

Ben Gamel scored two on an RBI triple to open the game's scoring for the Brewers, but the A's went on to score six unanswered runs, including RBI doubles from Austin Allen and Franklin Barreto. The Brewers would cut the lead in half in the seventh inning on a Luke Erceg single, but would be shut out the rest of the way. Allen's second RBI double of the day provided the final run for the A's.

The Brewers are back in action Monday night at 9:05 when they host the Seattle Mariners.
