Spring athletes will have to wait to begin their seasons after school was called off for the next few weeks due to the coronavirus.

In a release from the WIAA's Todd Clark, all school training, practices, scrimmages and contests are suspended. Schools and coaches are not allowed to bring students together or be involved with students during this time period for any extracurricular or athletic purposes, which includes practices and other instructional/organizational purposes. The release keeps the door open for coaches to contact  their players to conduct virtual workouts, but are not allowed to encourage the players to meet and practice.
