Brewer players split as to how to handle hiatus

The President of Baseball Operations for the Milwaukee Brewers, David Stearns, said last weekend that he expected players to divide evenly among three different options for how to wait out the delay of the regular season. Stearns will be staying in Arizona, making sure the Brewers spring training complex runs as normally as possible, and he expects about a third of the players to remain there. Stearns said another third are in Milwaukee to work out at Miller Park. The other players are returning home.

Major League Baseball has not announced a date yet for Opening Day. There is also no word as to whether there will be an additional spring training period before the start of the regular season.
