Another Phoenix leaves program

A second member of the Green Bay Phoenix women's basketball team will fly away from the program in the offseason.

According to the Green Bay Press-Gazette, Karly Murphy has entered the NCAA's transfer portal has she looks to use her two final years of eligibility. Murphy was a big contributor on last year's team, starting 19 games last year for the Phoenix. Despite being on the team for four years, Murphy only used two years of her eligibility since she redshirted her first year and lost another year to an injury.  Wherever she goes next, she will be doing so as she tries to earn her Masters' Degree in Business Administration. She joins Anna Brecht on the quest to find a new team. Brecht made her decision to leave the program earlier this month.
