The spring sports season for local high school athletes is hanging by a string.

The WIAA postponed a decision to cancel the spring sports season the same day they decided to call off their annual meeting in April. The seasons, which include baseball, softball, track and field, girls' soccer, and boys' golf, have been postponed since early March to comply with the guidelines set by the Centers for Disease Control regarding the coronavirus.
