Its late May start may allow summer collegiate baseball teams like the Green Bay Booyah to do what other leagues may not: host a full season.
The Northwoods League announced earlier this month that it is preparing to start the season as anticipated as long as the COVID-19 outbreak is under control. That means the first game at Capital Credit Union Park in Ashwaubenon could occur on May 28th against the Kokomo Jackrabbits, two days after they open their second season at Rockford.
