Algoma Little League has been sidelined like so many other youth baseball groups this year. While Kewaunee County reopened with limited restrictions in April, many parks had activities limited, which led to a shortage of venues for the league to use. For the diehards though, a more informal slate of games has cropped up, says Parks Supervisor Madeline Prokash.
Prokash says she expects Algoma’s Perry Field to be opening soon. It has been subject to a curfew for the past couple of weeks due to litter and property damage.
