The second time was the charm playing in front of the home fans for the Green Bay Booyah as they topped Rockford, 5-3. They improve their overall record to 1-2 after losing both ends of a home-and-home series with the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters to open the season.
Grant Emme was the star, going 3-4 at the plate. His two-run single in the second set the tone early, and he finished with three runs batted in. Emme has seven RBIs in three games.
Avery Stephens was the winning pitcher, throwing two scoreless innings in relief of starter Garrett Martin. The Booyah are home this afternoon with first pitch at 4:35 PM. The game is sold out.
