The Green Bay Booyah gave up a late lead on a steamy Independence Day evening at Capital Credit Union Park to fall 5-3 to the Rockford Rivets.
After giving up two runs in the top half of the third inning, the Booyah pushed two across the plate on a single by Cameron Tilly. It could have been just a single tally, but it was the heads up base running of Andy Blake that knotted things up. Nadir Lewis took advantage of a dropped third strike to score from third to make it a 3-2 game in the fifth inning. The Rivets tied the game in the ninth inning and pushed across a pair in the 10th inning to prevent the Booyah from winning their second game of the young season.
