At least one of Wisconsin football's two neutral site games in 2020 has been moved.
Northwestern and the Chicago Cubs announced Wednesday it was postponing the Wrigley Field matchup that was slated to feature the Badgers playing the host Wildcats in November. The uncertainty of the baseball and football schedules and the unlikelihood of a capacity crowd due to COVID-19 concerns played into the decision. The Badgers will still play the Wildcats south of the border this season, though it will be at Ryan Field. There has been no official word yet on the fate of the Badgers' matchup with Notre Dame at Lambeau Field on October 3rd. Rumors began swirling last month that the game may be moved to South Bend since the Lambeau matchup is part of the Irish's Shamrock Series.
