The Badger will be stalking the pickleball courts of Door County on Saturday. Nine-time national champion Dave Weinbach, a Madison native, will be hosting clinics to help area players hone their skills in what is becoming an increasingly popular sport locally. Club President Jay Renstrom says the clinic has been in the works since last October.
Renstrom shares that another clinic, with a separate organization, is already scheduled for next month. If you are interested in taking part Saturday, the morning lesson in Sister Bay is already sold out, as is the “play with the pros” exhibition late in the day. The Sturgeon Bay session runs from 1:00 to 3:00 PM.
