Brewers begin Blue-Gold World Series Tuesday

The Milwaukee Brewers will play for bragging rights beginning on Tuesday when it begins its intrasquad Blue-Gold World Series.

The teams were picked by catcher Omar Narváez and outfielder Avisaíl García and the games will last between five and seven innings. Brewers.com did not have the full rosters available. It will be summer camp for more than just the players on the field as the game operations crew will get to mimic their daily routines while the TV and radio crews will broadcast the games for the team's Web site. The series will allow the team to more closely simulate a real game experience before they head to Chicago for an exhibition contest against the White Sox next Wednesday and opening day against the Cubs that Friday.
