Traditions like players riding bikes and the annual Family Night scrimmage will go to the wayside for at least one year after the Green Bay Packers announced Wednesday there would be no fans at its preseason events.
The decision means there will be no fans at the Packers' sole preseason game, Family Night scrimmage, or its training camp practices. In a statement released by the organization, President Mark Murphy said it came to the conclusion after consulting local, state, and federal health officials. The Packers are still working on the proper protocols to hopefully allow fans inside Lambeau Field at some point during the regular season.
