Long ball brings Booyah to .500

The Green Bay Booyah scored five runs in the first five innings to propel them to a 5-2 win over the Wisconsin Woodchucks Thursday night.

 

Alec Burns got the offense going for the Booyah with a two-run home run in the third inning to stake the home team to a 2-0 victory. Up 4-0, Andy Blake also played longball with the Woodchucks, hitting a solo shot in the fifth inning. Garrett Martin, Avery Stephens, and Cam Bailey combined to hold the Woodchucks to two runs while striking out 14.
