It didn’t take long for the K/D Salmon Tournament to create a whopper of a fish tale. In this case, it’s real and there’s documented proof. Just after 9:00 AM Friday, on the first day, the contest’s Facebook page congratulated Jim Jorgenson and Scott Lindgren for reeling in a 26-pound salmon off Washington Island. That’s a lot of filets. The Friday night menu is set for a couple of months. The K/D Salmon Tournament runs through July 25th.
