The Milwaukee Brewers got their Chicago swing off on the right foot Wednesday night, beating the White Sox 5-3 in a shortened game.
The Brewers hit four home runs in the contest, including one by Ben Gamel that was initially caught by White Sox outfielder Luis Robert but went over the wall when his glove went over with it. Christian Yelich, Orlando Arcia, and Keston Hiura also hit homers for the Crew. Manny Pina's RBI double in the second inning broke a 1-1 tie that left the White Sox chasing the Brewers the rest of the night. The White Sox conceded the game in their bottom half of the ninth inning after Arcia's solo shot in the top half of the frame.
The Brewers will have an off day on Thursday before playing the Cubs this weekend in Chicago.
