A near COVID-capacity crowd saw the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders score in five consecutive innings late to top the Green Bay Booyah 8-4 Tuesday night.
The Booyah jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first two innings thanks to a pair of RBI singles by Nick Kreutzer in the first and third innings and a sacrifice fly by Alec Burns. The Dock Spiders would score its eight runs in consecutive innings between the fourth and eighth. That included the eventual game-winning rally in the sixth when the Dock Spiders pushed across three runs on three hits. Dalton Wiggins took the loss for the Booyah, giving up the game-deciding rally without recording an out. The Booyah are back in action Wednesday night in Ashwaubenon to continue their series against the Dock Spiders.
