Wide receiver Devin Funchess became the first Packers player to opt out of 2020 season, citing family concerns amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. On Instagram, he said he has had family members severely impacted by the virus and wanted to do what was best for him and his family.
Over 20 players have opted out of 2020 season so far as training camp activities begin this week across the NFL.
