The Milwaukee Bucks came back from an early deficit to take an eight-point lead, but could not close it out in their 120-116 loss to the Houston Rockets.
Giannis Antentokounmpo overcame a slow start to the game to lead the Bucks with 36 points, 18 rebounds, and eight assists. Khris Middleton and Brook Lopez also chipped in 27 and 24 points respectively. Russell Westbrook led the Rockets with 31 points. Despite outrebounding the Rockets 65-36, the Bucks had a problem with Houston's defense as they turned the ball over 22 times. The Rockets also stretched the Bucks out across the court, knocking down 21 three-pointers in the game. According to Bucks.com, it was the first time in NBA team lost a game in which they scored 110 points, held an opponent to less than 40% shooting (39.6) and out-rebounded an opponent by at least 25.
The Bucks are back in action Tuesday for matinee against the Brooklyn Nets.
