Even if he has to share it this year, Milwaukee Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer has another piece of hardware for his mantle.
Budenholzer was named the National Basketball Coaches Association Michael H. Goldberg Coach of the Year on Monday for the second year in a row. This year he shares the honor with Oklahoma City Thunder coach Billy Donovan and almost had to share it with Toronto Raptors head coach Nick Nurse. Budenholzer led the Bucks to a 53-12 record before the pandemic hit and is 1-1 in the restart. The Bucks return to the floor Tuesday afternoon against the Brooklyn Nets.
