Brewers claim 1-0 victory over Sox

An RBI single by Eric Sogard was all the Milwaukee Brewers needed in its 1-0 victory over the Chicago White Sox south of the border Wednesday night. It was all starting pitcher Adrian Houser certainly needed, scattering five hits and striking out five over seven innings of play. David Phelps earned the hold while Josh Hader earned his second save of the season with a 1-2-3 ninth inning through the heart of the White Sox lineup. Newly acquired Dallas Keuchel nearly matched Houser for the White Sox, striking out eight Brewers and only allowing the one run and five hits. The Brewers wrap up their four-game home-and-home stint with the White Sox Thursday at 7:10 p.m.
