Yelich powers Brew Crew to win

The Milwaukee Brewers found themselves trailing the Chicago Cubs in the top of the sixth inning Friday night but erased the deficit with a mighty swing of the bat from designated hitter Christian Yelich. He jumped all over a first pitch changeup from  Cubs starter Alec Mills, booming it into the bleachers in right center. The homer scored Eric Sogard and Keston Hiura, all the damage done without an out recorded.

Milwaukee’s bullpen did the rest. Josh Hader picked up his fourth save of the season, pitching one and a third scoreless innings. The teams have split the first two of a four-game set, and play again Saturday at 2:20 PM. Colin Rea versus Milwaukee’s Adrian Houser is the pitching matchup.
