The Milwaukee Brewers got their second straight win in extras Saturday by topping the Chicago Cubs 6-5.
The Cubs jumped out to a 3-0 lead only to have the Brewers piece together a three-run rally in the top of the fourth inning thanks to two-run double by Justin Smoak and a run-scoring hit by Luis Urias. A Jason Kipnis error helped give the Brewers a 4-3 lead in the sixth inning before the Cubs tied it up in the eighth inning on a home run. In the top of the 10th inning, Avisail Garcia jumped on a second-pitch splitter to drive in Christian Yelich before Urias knocked him home four batters later. The Cubs would sneak in one last run before Alex Claudio closed the door for his first save of the year. The Brewers go for the series win on Sunday at 1:20 p.m. at Wrigley Field.
