If you are going to get a wake-up call at midnight like the Green Bay Packers' Kenny Clark, you might as well get paid like him too.
It was the middle of the night when Clark learned he was signing a contract that would make him the richest nose tackle in NFL history. The deal is for $70 million over four years with a $25 million signing bonus, which ESPN reports would be the highest for a non-quarterback in franchise history.
The Packers also announced it was releasing CB Marc-Antoine Dequoy, TE James Looney and WR Darrell Stewart on the same day the team hosted its first practice of training camp.
