A pair of four-run innings catapulted the Milwaukee Brewers to a 9-3 victory Wednesday evening over the Minnesota Twins.
Down 1-0 heading into the top of the third, Ryan Braun clobbered a two-run shot and Avisail Garcia knocked in two on a single to give the Brewers a 4-1 lead. They would repeat that feat again in the fifth inning when Christian Yelich and Garcia each hit two-run homers. Keston Hiura matched his teammates with a solo home run in the ninth. The Twins would eat into the deficit a little bit with two runs in the bottom half of the inning, but it was not enough. The rubber match between the two teams is slated for 6:10 p.m.
