The Luxemburg-Casco volleyball team squeezed out one last championship game appearance this summer on Thursday.The Spartans won the 1W Summer League #2 by beating Bay Port and Green Bay Notre Dame. The Spartans volleyball also announced Thursday plans to connect with its youngest fans. In a post on Facebook, the team admits the fall will look much different because of COVID-19 concerns. There will be no weekend tournaments and only matches within the Northeastern Conference will occur. There will be no student section and fans, in general, will be limited. It's Jersey Girls program, which allowed girls sixth grade and below a chance to line up next to their favorite Spartans, will not be taking place.
