It took some patience, but the Milwaukee Bucks finally got their chance to advance to the second round of the NBA playoffs on Saturday.
Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way for the Bucks in their 118-104 win over the Magic, scoring 28 points while collecting 17 rebounds. Khris Middleton added 21 points and 10 rebounds, but it was Marvin Williams who helped extinguish a late run by the Magic. In the third quarter the Magic had shaved a 21-point Bucks lead to three, but Williams hit one of his four three-pointers to stem the tide. Nicola Vucevic had 22 points and 15 rebounds for the Magic in the loss.
The game was delayed a few nights due to boycotts related to the shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha. The Bucks will face the Heat in the second round beginning on Monday.
