Sogard walks off Pirates

Eric Sogard gets credit for the save Saturday as his ninth-inning two-run shot gave the Milwaukee Brewers the 7-6 win.

The Pirates and the Brewers traded runs early, highlighted by a 460-foot homer by Christian Yelich. Josh Bell capped off a two-run fifth inning with his third home run of the season to give the Pirates a 4-2 lead. Orlando Arcia started a Brewers comeback with a home run in the seventh and Avisail Garcia gave them the lead with a two-run double in the eighth. Josh Hader's ninth was uncharacteristic, walking five Pirates including the game-tying and game-breaking runs. Sogard showed off the nerd power in the bottom of the ninth however, hitting the game-winning home run with Jace Peterson along for the ride. The Brewers go for another win Sunday afternoon against the Pirates.
