Sturgeon Bay School District continues to take a cautious approach towards fall athletics. All contact sports have been pushed to spring, but even the non-contact variety has yet to compete. The girls’ golf team is part of the Bay Conference and is the only school, out of eight members, without a match under their belt. The Clippers were supposed to host a tournament this past Thursday, which was canceled. On the 20th at Shawano and the 25th at Bonduel, even fellow Packerland member, NEW Lutheran, took part in the matches. Non-contact sports will be allowed again once Door County’s COVID-19 activity level is reclassified as moderate.
