Blown call puts Bucks in hole

A questionable call in the closing seconds has put the Milwaukee Bucks in a 2-0 hole after losing Wednesday to the Miami Heat 116-114.

The Heat outscored the Bucks in the first quarter 39-28, but the Bucks were able to whittle that down quarter by quarter until the final frame. The final 30 seconds became a free-throw shooting contest when Jimmy Butler knocked down a free throw to extend the Heat's lead to three with just over seven seconds remaining. Four seconds later, Khris Middleton was able to tie the game for the Bucks by knocking down all three of his free throws after being foul during his shot from behind the arc. That set the stage for Butler's last-second shot that he got off cleanly, but officials said Giannis Antetokounmpo did not allow him to land freely. A foul was called and Butler sank two free throws for a walk-off win for the Heat.

Goran Dragic led the Heat with 23 points while Antetokounmpo led all scorers with 29 points and 14 rebounds.

The Bucks look to avoid going down 3-0 in the series on Friday when they face the Heat at 5:30 p.m.
