There was a fair share of surprises across the NFL on Saturday as rosters were cut down to 53 players and the Green Bay Packers were no exception.
Offensive lineman Alex Light and wide receiver Jake Kumerow were among the cuts made on Saturday. Kumerow often earned the praise of quarterback Aaron Rodgers while Light was expected to make up for last season's late decline and become a contributor.
NFL teams will be able to fill in some gaps and take advantage of some of the other players cut on Saturday when the window to pick people off waivers begins on Sunday.
