Two Door County teams will face a common opponent under the lights at Capital Credit Union Park in Ashwaubenon as a part of the National Youth Football Organization Friday Night Showcase 7-on-7 league.
Sturgeon Bay will face the Wildcats at 7 p.m. while Gibraltar will them on at 8 p.m. The Wildcats got their first taste of victory in almost five years in a late-season exhibition game last year, defeating Menominee Indian 62-41. The fall season was supposed to be a first for Skylar Liebzeit, who was hired as the team's new head coach in February.
The Clippers are coming off a whirlwind season where the program made a switch to eight-man football, steadily improving during the course of the season despite not registering any wins. The Vikings are coming off their second straight playoff season and their first conference championship since switching to eight-man football.
