While the Big Ten Council of Presidents and Chancellors just voted unanimously to bring the college football season back on the weekend of October 23-24, the Wisconsin Badgers Football team has been struck by COVID-19. Public Health officials of Madison and Dane County have stated that 42 members of the team and staff have tested positive for COVID-19 since June. Even more concerning, 29 of the 42 positive tests have come between September 1 and September 15. The Badgers first scheduled opponent for the weekend of October 23-24 has yet to be announced.
