Sevastopol Preparing to Play

As schools are still hesitant on whether to play sports this fall, Sevastopol has decided to move forward as they prepare to play. Sevastopol’s middle school and high school football, volleyball, and cross country teams will be practicing by next week. Brooke Tanck says that each coach and athlete goes through regular screening.

Along with regular screenings, athletes must be masked at all times unless they are performing a high intensity workout. During these high intensity portions of practice, athletes are required to practice social distancing. Coaches are also responsible for cleaning equipment before, during, and after practice. Sevastopol kicked off their fall sports as the football team traveled to Menasha on Saturday for a scrimmage.
