Volleyball got underway for Packerland Conference schools while Luxemburg-Casco continued its hot start to the season.

The Spartans have yet to drop a set this year as they cruised to a 25-16, 25-11, 25-17 sweep of Clintonville.

Sevastopol opened up their season against a strong Oconto team, falling in straight sets to the Blue Devils 25-19, 25-9, 25-23.

Southern Door lost a tight one in their home opener against Peshtigo  25-18, 25-22, 25-21, 25-13, 17-15.

Southern Door is scheduled to play in a multi-team event in Valders and Luxemburg-Casco is set to battle Wrightstown on Saturday.
