Soccer: Algoma gets first action, L-C hosts Wrightstown

This week marks the first time multiple high school soccer teams from Door and Kewaunee Counties took to the pitch this fall season.

Monday night, Algoma played at home against Peshtigo in its Packerland Conference opener. No score has been reported and the Wolves will make the return trip to visit the Bulldogs on October 5th.

Tuesday's matchup features Luxemburg-Casco staying at home to face Wrightstown. The Spartans shut out Denmark its last time out thanks to a two-point evening by Anthony Patek. First touch is set for 6:30 p.m.
