LC Soccer Survives

The Luxemburg-Casco boys soccer team barely escaped with a 4-3 win over Menasha on Thursday night. The Spartans opened the scoring with goals by Johan Amador in the 3rd minute and Griffin Saldana in the 13th minute to go up 2-0. The Bluejays were able to storm back with two goals of their own to tie the game 2-2 at the half. Things weren’t looking good in the second half as the Bluejays took a 3-2 lead in the 67th minute. Nathan Johnson was able to tie the game in the 84th minute from a Johan Amador assist. Griffin Saldana was able to put away the game-winner in the 90th minute to seal the victory. Saldana finished with two goals and an assist. Johan Amador had one goal and one assist. 

 

The Spartans' next scheduled match is at home against Freedom on Tuesday.
