Luxemburg-Casco High School boys’ soccer team hosted Freedom on Tuesday, losing their first match of the year. The Irish played tough defense, allowing the Spartans just two shots on goal in a 4-0 shutout. Freedom struck in bunches. Their first half goals came at the seven and nine-minute marks from Tanner Gerritts and Hayden Falcus. In the second stanza, the scores were just six minutes apart. One tally off the foot of Ryan Vosters with Caden Hansen adding the other. Luxemburg-Casco goaltender Garrett Zuleger had seven saves.
