If you don't have a high school football game to tune into next Friday, the Wisconsin Badgers now have you covered.
The Big 10 announced the schedule for the conference's opening weekend next week, which includes the Badgers opening the year against the Illinois Fighting Illini under the Camp Randall Stadium lights at 7 p.m. The game was originally scheduled to be played on Saturday, October 24th. So far it is one of five Big Ten games to be moved to Friday nights this season after Monday's announcement. No times are set for the Badgers' other games this season.
Actual fans will not be allowed to attend the game, but the University of Wisconsin athletic department is following the lead of the Milwaukee Brewers and other professional sports leagues. You can purchase a cardboard cutout of yourself to be placed inside Camp Randall Stadium for a fee.
