Kewaunee football moves to the spring

After holding out hope, there will be no Kewaunee football this fall.

Kewaunee athletic director Brian Rabas confirmed the decision by the school board to move the football season to the alternative spring season. The school's cross country, tennis, soccer, and volleyball teams had already made the switch, but there was hope earlier this month that the team could still get some games in. Since then, Kewaunee High School has seen its virtual learning extended to at least November and one of their opponents, Clintonville, also shut down sports at the school due to COVID-19 concerns.
