Gamblers face Team USA in exhibition opener on 104.1 WRLU

For the first time since the pandemic hit, the Green Bay Gamblers will hit the ice against someone else.

That "someone else" is Team USA, which will send its U-17 team to the Resch Center to face the Gamblers, which was in line for a playoff berth prior to the season stoppage. Team USA has 19 players committed to college hockey teams including University of Wisconsin commit Caden Brown. The Gamblers counter with an impressive mix of forwards including Jackson Kunz, who was selected in the fourth round of the NHL Draft by the Vancouver Canucks. It is the group of forwards where Gamblers head coach Pat Mikesch would like to see the most movement before he has to trim the rosters after next weekend.

The Gamblers and Team USA face off beginning at 7:05 p.m. on 104.1 WRLU with Tobin Meyer on the call.
