Phoenix Basketball is on the horizon

The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Phoenix basketball is back. The Horizon League declared its 2020-21 conference schedules for men’s and women’s basketball today. The league schedule consists of 20 games over the weekends only, with five being “home” and five being “away”. For example, the men will host UWM for two games with no trip to Milwaukee, play at Wright State for two games with no home matchups against them. The men's Horizon League schedule starts on Dec. 19 and will run for 10 consecutive weeks, while the women's Horizon League schedule will start on Dec. 12 and run for 10 weeks. Outside of the conference, the men’s team will play Marquette on Tuesday, December 8th. The rest of the non-conference games for both men’s and women’s teams will be announced sometime next week. There will be no fans allowed through the end of 2020 but the games will be live-streamed.
