The Green Bay Packers were able to take advantage of an injury-riddled and COVID-19 impacted San Francisco 49ers team Thursday night, beating them 34-17.
The Packers once again started the game off with a score as Aaron Rodgers found Davante Adams for a 36-yard touchdown. The 49ers ended the quarter with a field goal, but the Packers scored 27 consecutive points as they put the game out of reach. Rodgers was able to find Marcedes Lewis on a quick out pattern for a touchdown and a pair of scores to Marquez Valdes-Scantling en route to a 305 yard, four-touchdown night. Following a pair of Mason Crosby field goals, the 49ers were able to find the scoreboard again with a field goal and one-yard touchdown run by Jerick McKinnon.
The Packers improved to 6-2 at the halfway point of a season with a home date against the Jacksonville Jaguars coming up on November 15th.
