Luxemburg-Casco and Southern Door have likely played their last home game of the season after the WIAA announced their playoff matchups early Saturday morning.
The Luxemburg-Casco Spartans will have to travel in the first round of the Division II WIAA playoffs despite a huge win on Friday night. The Spartans received a #3 seed and will now travel to #2 Plymouth next Friday night to take on the Panthers. The winner of that game will play the winner of the #1 West DePere- #4 Grafton matchup on Thursday, November 19. Luxemburg-Casco finished the regular season with a 7-2, including last night's 56-21 win over Fox Valley Lutheran.
Matt Piesler and Paul Schmitt will have the call starting at 6:30 p.m. next Friday with the pregame show and kick-off set for 7 pm on 96.7FM WBDK. The game audio can also be streamed on the NewRadioSportsRadioNetwork.com.
The Southern Door Eagles received a # 3 seed from the WIAA in Division III football playoff seeding. The Eagles will travel to Brillion to take on the Lions next Friday night at 7 pm. The winner of that game will play the winner of the #1 Amherst and #4 Peshtigo on Thursday, November 19. 102.1 MoreFM will broadcast the game starting at 6:30 pm with the pregame show. The game will also be streamed on the NEW Radio Sports Network.
