Kewaunee gives peek at 2020 wrestling season

A peek at what the 2020-2021 season may look like for wrestling teams was given by the Kewaunee Storm on Sunday.

Notably absent from this year's schedule will be multi-team tournaments that dotted the schedule for most of the season beginning in early December. Teams will only be allowed one single-team dual a week and wrestlers will only be allowed one match a night unless it is for an exhibition. Wrestlers will also have to be masked while competing in front of spectatorless crowds. The post goes onto say that certain regulations could be lifted if conditions change and the plan is to still have a postseason tournament at the end of the year.

The first day of practice for area wrestling teams like Kewaunee, Southern Door, Sturgeon Bay/Sevastopol, and Luxemburg-Casco is November 23rd.
