The New York Mets and company have been soul searching for a new front office member. According to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, David Stearns, president of baseball operations for the Milwaukee Brewers, was listed as an interview prospect, but the Brewers denied the opportunity. The underlying motive comes with Stearns growing up in New York as a Mets fan and that he began his MLB employment in the Mets organization after graduating from Harvard. Milwaukee took action to decline this occurrence from happening earlier this week, Stearns signed a private multi-year contract extension in 2019 that brought him a promotion from general manager to his current rank.
