LC womens' basketball tips off the new season

The Luxemburg-Casco Spartans womens’ basketball team is eager to start playing this season. The women have been practicing since November 16th which was the first date of availability the WIAA granted for winter basketball activity. Head coach Taylor Schmidt is in her second year at LC and is looking forward to the first game but is taking it one piece at a time:

Luxemburg-Casco will be battle tested right off the jump, tipping off their season at Wrightstown High School on Tuesday, November 24th to face the defending Northeastern Conference champions. The Wrightstown Tigers went an astonishing 25-2 overall with only one conference loss. The Spartans finished in the bottom half of the conference last year but are bringing back almost all of their players, losing only three seniors last year.
