Sevastopol's Brooke Tanck prepares for winter

Sevastopol high school athletic director and talent coordinator Brooke Tanck has dealt with unprecedented times in her short tenure. After being named head of the athletic department back in May of 2020, Tanck has dealt with the pandemic right from day one with her new role. Tanck is preparing for winter sports seasons to the best of her capability.

Winter sports will find themselves starting up as the WIAA released schedules for high schools across the state earlier this fall. Sevastopol combines their swimming program with Southern Door High School, Gibraltar High School and Sturgeon Bay High School to make up the Door County United swim team. Sevastopol also combines their wrestling program with Sturgeon Bay High School. Sevastopol boys' and girls' basketball have started their seasons as well.
