Packers strive for health

The Green Bay Packers are in the heat of a playoff bid and continue to re-introduce key players onto the active roster.

The health of the Packers has been imperative for success and longevity this season. Green Bay welcomed back defensive backs Kevin King, Jaire Alexander and receiver Allen Lazard for the Indianapolis Colts game. Green Bay center lineman Corey Linsley left Sunday’s game with a minor back injury according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, but he is not expected to miss notable time. Linsley departed Sunday’s loss to the Colts after 10 offensive snaps in which Green Bay inserted rookie offensive lineman Jon Runyan Jr. into the mix. Packers’ utility offensive tool Tyler Ervin is listed as questionable according to ESPN earlier this week for the Sunday night home football matchup versus the Chicago Bears. Ervin was forced to exit during the week 11 game with rib and wrist injuries. Teammate Montravius Adams has been battling a toe injury through the 2020-21 season and the defensive tackle didn’t play in the Colts game. However, earlier this week Adams was moved up from being listed as doubtful to questionable for the Bears game. The Packers will play against the Bears on Sunday Night Football at 7:20.
