UWGB women's basketball prepares for season tip-off

The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Phoenix women’s basketball team looks to tip-off their season against the Drake Bulldogs. Phoenix head coach Kevin Borseth is entering the 2020-21 season in his 18th year at the helm of the program. Borseth will undertake this season with a young squad that contains only three seniors in Meghan Pingel, Caitlyn Hibner and Lyndsey Robson. Hibner will lead the team as a preseason Horizon League Second Team selection after averaging 9.6 points per game last season as a redshirt junior. Saturday's matchup will be the eighth meeting between the two storied programs with the Phoenix owning a 5-2 record over the Bulldogs. The Phoenix women tip-off  at 1 p.m. at the Kress Center.
